I suppose I should throw out my Peter Pan peanut butter.

Having read about the recall, I quietly scoffed at the paranoia of those who recommended getting rid of all peanut butter, as if the net of the "2111" product code weren't wide enough.  And all this fuss when no actual contamination has (yet) been found in the product—just a statistical link.

But just for fun, I looked at the product code on my jar, and lo and behold, it begins with the Number of the Peanut Butter Beast.

The fact that I've already consumed more than half the contents of the jar ought to count for something, though.

Living life on the edge, eh? ;-) Thanks for coming by. You mentioned at Jon Daley's blog that you were impressed I was a ceilidh dancer. Are you Scottish or just into ceilidhs? Nothing like a good ceilidh, I think, and you can tell if it's been a good one by all the bruises over your arms in the morning!

Welcome! Is Keziah your real name? I think it's one of the loveliest -- though we ran out of girls in our own family before coming to it.

I've never been to a ceilidh, but our other daughter (who will probably speak for herself at some point) has such enthusiasm for Irish (Scottish/Cape Breton/etc.) music and dance that the rest of us at least have a passing knowledge of some of the vocabulary. :) Even if we can't pronounce it.

Hi there! It's said "kay-lay" and is really a Gaelic word for gathering but has come to mean Scottish dancing. You ever come to Scotland and I'll make sure you all get to a ceilidh!

Yes, I know a little about Irish dance, but I always thought Ceili was type of Irish dancing. Is Ceilidh a different word? It's pronounced the same way!
