Or Pennsylvania? We forgot to turn our hot water heater back on until after I started taking a shower, and then it occurred to me that Heather probably wouldn't have thought to do it. I went downstairs to turn it on, and after being off for two weeks, still contained water almost as hot as we usually keep it.
I suspect the arguments for point-of-use and other electric heaters don't make sense any more, compared with newer water heaters.
We bought the heater when we moved in, and we ended up getting a 9 year warrantied "short" heater - the "tall" heater I first bought wouldn't quite fit in the existing ducting, and Home Depot doesn't sell 12 year warrantied "short" heaters.

gave me a chuckle...
"Lift Up Yo" -- I don't know if that reflects my Philadelphia heritage or my recent exposure to Swiss German.
I didn't even think that the hot water could have been left over in the tank. That's the temperature it comes out of the pipes in the summer.
