I loved Mr. Rogers, too. I was part of the Boston TV viewing audience mentioned in the 1969 Senate Hearings. (Google search Fred Rogers Senate and go to the pbs site). A bygone era I am afraid.

I'm really surprised the show is not more readily available. Some episodes are online, a few are on DVD, Amazon has 100 that you can watch through their video service, and some local PBS stations are still airing reruns even though PBS itself has stopped. I would think there's a good market for the DVD's, but I guess PBS doesn't agree.
